Lee Marshall

Lee is the Policy & External Affairs Director at CIWM and has spent nearly 30 years in waste management.

Lee has spent nearly 30 years in waste management after graduating with an Environmental Technology degree.

He has a long career in local government, having worked for three English local authorities and one Welsh unitary authority. In addition, Lee has worked in the private sector with a large waste company and a multi-national waste consultancy.

He was Chair of LARAC for 4 years and was involved with the organisation for well over 10 years before becoming its Chief Executive Officer.

He sat on the WEEE Advisory Board and the Advisory Committee on Packaging, and was an advisor to the Welsh Local Government Association.

He is currently a non-executive director of OPRL Ltd, has a Masters degree in Public Administration and is a Fellow of the CIWM.
