Deanna Zhang

Deanna Zhang is Head of Circular Products & Materials and Investment Director at Circularity Capital, a leading specialist private equity firm dedicated to support innovative growth-stage European businesses in the circular economy.

At Circularity, she leads investments in the firm’s CPM theme – companies pioneering a sustainable, circular transition through Product-from-Waste transformations and Bio-based Solutions.
Prior to joining Circularity, Deanna executed buyout and growth transactions across the consumer, healthcare, industrial, and services sectors in Europe at L-GAM, a private equity fund founded in partnership with the Princely Family of Liechtenstein and spun-out of Bain Capital / Investcorp.

She was previously an Investment Manager with the global impact investor LGT Impact Ventures (now Lightrock), where she was responsible for investments and portfolio management in Latin America. Deanna also served as a consultant at BCG, and worked previously with the United Nations, the World Bank’s IFC, and the PE firms 3i and Warburg Pincus. Deanna holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, an MPA in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a BA in Human Biology and International Relations from Stanford University.
