Joe Rodgers

Joe Rodgers is the Programme Manager of the Finance Initiative at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, which aims to catalyse finance at scale for a circular economy.

He works with investors and financial institutions to implement a circular economy approach into their investment strategy, primarily through the Foundations Network. Recently he has contributed to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards as part of the Finance Initiative’s work advising EFRAG’s PTF-ESRS and the Task Force for Nature Related Disclosures.

Joe spent seven years working with EY and has a background in financial services and international transaction tax. Before joining the Foundation, Joe spent a year with On Purpose working with impact-focused start-ups gaining knowledge on carbon accounting and product-led businesses. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a first-class degree in Natural Science from the University of Bath.
