John Twitchen

John is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and environmental scientist.

He has worked in and around the resources and energy sectors for over 25 years providing advice and support to organisations engaging with stakeholders from all backgrounds on environmental issues. He is co-founder of Stuff4Life, a circular economy start-up company with a patent-pending technology for depolymerising polyester fabrics, working with safety company Arco on circular workwear solutions.

John authored the CIWM 2017 Presidential Report, “Digital Technology and Consumer Trends” and is working on a new piece of consumer-based research looking at the challenges presented by batteries.
