Dr. Mervyn Jones

Mervyn is a circular economy and circular procurement specialist at the Rijkswaterstaat in the Netherlands.

He has a doctorate in climate change and a background over 25 years in sustainability, circular economy and resource efficiency. He has provided circular procurement technical support, nationally and internationally, to the UN Environment programme, OECD, multi-lateral Development Banks and on European programmes.

Technical areas of specialism include infrastructure and construction, ICT, plastics, food and circular procurement. He also provides public procurement support to the Welsh and Scottish governments and local authorities in the United Kingdom.
