Yayra Agbofah

Yayra Agbofah is the passionate and visionary founder of The Revival.

A dedicated social entrepreneur, conscious fashion educator, and action-oriented advocate for responsible consumption, he has made it his mission to address pressing social and environmental issues through art, education, and entrepreneurship, both in Ghana and across Africa.
Yayra’s work centers around community-led sustainable solutions to tackle textile waste, particularly from the global North.
His initiatives include education on zero waste and upcycling skills, raising awareness about the environmental consequences of consumer patterns, building collaborative communities for sustainable change, and celebrating the progress made so far. With a commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and society, Yayra’s leadership at The Revival is driving meaningful change in the fashion and waste management industries.

His creative consultancy and collective AfroDistrict, tackles social and environmental issues through art, education and entrepreneurship since 2014. AfroDistrict gives voice to a new wave of enthusiasm and self- belief among young entrepreneurial minds in the creative and fashion industry in Ghana and across Africa.
His aim is to break stereotypes and change perceptions of Africa through visual storytelling.
